Turtle Rock Studios is gearing up for the release of its asymmetrical shooter, Evolve, as a new monster joins the hunt.

Turtle Rock Studios and 2K Games' newest announcement for Evolve sure is a beast as the Behemoth enters the safari. The Behemoth is a huge, destructive boulder that you do not want to see on your path. His rock-form gives him a speed and defense boost for moving around the terrain, so you'll have to be careful not to be squashed.

The Evolve news doesn't stop there -- Turtle Rock and 2K now have new info about the Xbox One's Exclusive Pre-Purchase and Pre-Load, the Hunting Season Pass, the Digital Deluxe Edition and the PC Monster Race Edition. You can check out the complete details for all of these things on Turtle Rock's website, but what we're most excited to report about is Evolve's open beta information.

The Evolve Xbox One Open Beta will start on Jan. 15 and run until Jan. 19. If you enjoyed playing the Alpha, hopefully you got a spot on the Beta as well. Players will be able to try Evolve's most renowned mode, "Hunt." One cool thing about the Beta is that your Monsters and Hunters' progress will travel right on over to the final retail version of the game when it comes out. You can check out Evolve's full Beta details on its official blog.

Evolve will debut on Feb. 10, so get your Xbox One, PlayStation 4 or PC ready for this thrilling new hunt.
