Shao Kahn's psychokinetic enforcer is back for Mortal Kombat X as NetherRealm Studios teases a new "-ality" move.

NetherRealm Studios' latest gameplay stream confirmed Ermac and a new finishing move type for Mortal Kombat X. While the new finisher won't be revealed until sometime next month, we can't wait to see if its a Babality, Animality, Friendship or something entirely new. Ermac originally joined the Outworld roster in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 as a color palette swap for Scorpion and eventually became more of a unique character in the sequels that followed. Here, his psychokinetic powers prove to be a unique asset, providing a bone-crunching Fatality that made us cringe.

Around six months ago, we found some concept art suggesting that Ermac was joining the roster.

Ermac joins the ranks of Quan Chi, Scorpion, Kano, Raiden, Sub-Zero, Kitana, Cassie Cage, Kung Lao, Reptile, Kotal Kahn, D'Vorah and Ferra/Torra. With Goro being the game's pre-order exclusive character (boooooooo), Mortal Kombat X's character selection screen still has 11 blackened spots, representing other fighters to join the roster. Based on the ending of Mortal Kombat 9 and Quan Chi's inclusion in MKX, we have a feeling that the Fallen Elder God Shinnok (the main antagonist of MK4) will be a playable character, and you can't have Kitana without her butterface sister, right?

Mortal Kombat X will debut on April 14 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

What could the new Finisher be?
