Kendall Boyd, Epic Games' former director of worldwide marketing, has joined up with Microsoft Studios to work on marketing the Chief and his awesome space adventures.

According to an article on GamesIndustry, Boyd is now the Director of Halo Global Marketing and will manage the franchise's marketing.

A Microsoft representative told GamesIndustry that they are "thrilled to welcome him into the Halo fold, but have no other details to share at this time."

A spokesperson from Epic said, "Yes, Kendall Boyd has left Epic Games to join our long-time partner Microsoft. We wish him well on his new adventure. We aren't announcing our plans for the role right now."

Boyd is the latest figure to leave Epic Games, adding to loss of personnel like Cliff Bleszinski, Mike Capps, and Rod Fergusson.
