According to a new report, EA's Partners label, which included Valve, Crytek, and Harmonix, will be shuttered.

Sources speaking with Game Informer indicated the closing of EA Partners is part of the larger reorganization the publisher is undergoing in the new fiscal year. Respawn's untitled game and Insomniac's Fuse are part of the Partners label, though the sources indicated neither project will be affected by this move.

Over the course of the past few years, EA Partners has helped release games from Double Fine (Brutal Legend), Hothead Games (Deathspank), Starbreeze (Syndicate), and Epic Games (Bulletstorm). EA also helped publish 38 Studios' Kingdom of Amalur, but since 38 Studios went belly up, it's unclear if EA lost money with that investment.

EA's first quarter financial call will occur on May 7th, and it's believed the publisher will share more details on the decision at that time.
