The numbers have been crunched and Sony has announced which games have made PlayStation consoles the most money in February.

Sony's been looking pretty closely at what does and doesn't make them money recently, so it only makes sense that it would come out with a list of its best selling games for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PS-One Classics and various types of DLC. On its PlayStation Blog, all of these games and add-ons are listed in some nicely laid out tables, but we're going to go over a few of them here for you now.

For the PlayStation 4, Dying Light, the zombie-filled survival horror game that came out at the end of January, headed up the list. Next up was Dragon Ball Xenoverse, a fighting game based on the Dragon Ball franchise that came out in late February, which marked the anime series' debut for having a game on a current-gen console. Third up was Evolve, the asymmetrical shooter that finally debuted on Feb 10.

Moving on to the PlayStation 3, Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition is at the top of the chart. While Minecraft isn't exactly a new game, it is a popular game, so its port on the PlayStation 3 topping the chart isn't exactly surprising. Next up was the HD remaster of Resident Evil, which surprisingly wasn't as high on the PS4 list as it was for the PS3. And of course there's Grand Theft Auto V, which is still doing strong on the last-gen console despite it being out for almost a year and a half.
