Evolution Studios' racing game Driveclub has been slowly recovering from its launch hiccups, and the February game update promises plenty of goods for everyone.

On its Facebook, Driveclub has announced that patch 1.11 will be coming out soon, and with it comes a ton of new stuff. To begin with, the free content that you can get includes a new multiplayer game mode, a new track, and new Tours. To start out with, the multiplayer game mode will be titled Team Time Trial. The new track will offer two new variants for Kobago in Japan. The Tours will have progress requirements -- you will need eight stars (lowered from 12) to progress to the second stage and 22 stars (lowered from 27) to open up the Championship. There will also be the added ability to choose between Paint Jobs while in vehicle selection, and the option to enable the Rev Counter in cockpit view, as well as the option to ghost under certain conditions in Multiplayer races. There will also be a decrease in the threshold on the manu-matic downshift limiter, and a reduction to the drying time for rain splatter on the Chase Cam as well as the ability to unlock the 'Contender' and 'Unbeatable' trophies even if you aren't online.

Then there's the stuff you have to pay for. You can get multiple add-ons that will come to the PlayStation Store between Feb. 24 and Feb. 26, which include the following:

  • Support for the VUHL 05
  • Support for the DOWNFORCE Expansion Pack and includes:
    • Ferrari F50, Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition, SRT Viper GTS, Koenigsegg One:1 and Jaguar F-Type R Coupé.
    • 11 new Events and 5 new Trophies.
  • Support for the Midnight Tour Pack and includes:
    • 11 new Events and 5 new Trophies.
  • Support for 2 new livery packs each of which contains 5 new livery patterns to customize your cars with.

There's still no word on the promised PlayStation Plus version of the game, but you can check out the rest of the details about the upcoming update on the game's Facebook.
