It's been a while since Atlus and Vanillaware have discussed Dragon's Crown, but a new trailer shows the game is looking as beautiful as ever.

Announced back during E3 2011, Dragon's Crown was revealed as the next big game from Vanillaware, makers of such fine interactive entertainment like Odin's Sphere and Muramasa. Developed to implement CrossPlay on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, the side-scrolling hack-and-slash looked absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, since 2011, there's been little word on when and where the game would arrive.

During last night's Sony video conference, a new teaser trailer for Dragon's Crown was released, assuaging fears the game had been banished to development limbo, and more importantly, showing off more of that stunning visual style. Sadly, there's still no release date in sight, but at least we now know Atlus is still planning on bringing the thunder eventually.
