Dragon Ball Xenoverse: Create Your Own Z Fighter

Create your own Saiyan, human, Majin or Namekian warrior in Dragon Ball Xenoverse and have them help Goku in his journeys (just don't make another Yamcha).

Siliconera reports that screenshots of Dragon Ball Xenoverse have been making their way throughout the internet showing characters that were never seen on the TV show, manga or any other part of the Dragon Ball universe. Fans wondered who these fighters were, and Bandai Namco answered the call via a post on their website -- they are characters you can create and customize yourself. Avid 'Dragon Ball Z fans' should be able to recognize that most of these created characters' clothes and accessories have appeared throughout the anime, including Master Roshi's sunglasses and Tapion's armor.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse will sport customizable warriors, allowing players to insert these creations into the biggest moments of the Dragon Ball saga. Surprise! A Dragon Ball Z fighting game taking you through each of the series' biggest fights? Never seen that before.

The post says that created characters will have a "wide variety of customization options to choose from including physical features from the Earthling, Majin, and Namekian races to name a few." We'd love to build an Android, preferably one like Android 8 from the original Dragon Ball series.

The post then explains that once the character is created, they'll be "summoned by Trunks to complete a series of challenges to begin your path in this Dragon Ball adventure starting in the hub area, Toki Toki City." Creating your own Namekian, Majin, Saiyan or human character and having Trunks take you through time, interfering with many of DBZ's most pivotal plot points sounds a LOT like Dragon Ball Online, an MMORPG that was only released in Asia.

What type of Z Fighter will you create? Better think of something now, because Dragon Ball Xenoverse will be out next year for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
