It looks like there are no rifts between BioWare and the fans as it announced that Dragon Age: Inquisition had the most successful launch in the studio's 20 year history.

VideoGamer reports that EA revealed Dragon Age: Inquisition had the most successful launch in the BioWare history. Inquisition exceeded EA's sales expectations and we have a feeling the publisher will be pushing for a fourth Dragon Age title soon, despite how everything wrapped up in its ending. Blake Jorgensen, the CFO of EA, said that his company's holiday season success was dominated by Inquisition, followed by Madden NFL 15 and FIFA 15. Over 113 million accumulated hours have been played by Inquisitors worldwide, due to the vast amount of exploration and side quests available in Thedas.

"In particular, Dragon Age: Inquisition had by far the most successful launch in BioWare's history, exceeding our expectations," Jorgensen said.

One day, hopefully sooner rather than later, we hope to be reporting that the fourth Mass Effect title toppled Inquisition's impressive launch.
