For those who stayed up late or got up early to see EA's Gamescom 2014 press conference, the festivities kicked off with Dragon Age: Inquisition showing off an extended gameplay demo of a brand new area called the Fallow Mire and a brand new trailer showcasing some of the enemies that will stand in the Inquisition's way.

In the trailer we see giant monsters, including a brief glimpse at a dragon, tall creatures with really sharp claws, and a handful of menacing figures including a mage with glowing black eyes and a knight that looks to have been possessed by some malevolent spirit. The worst of them is the gross-looking thing that crawls like a bug, then stands straight and shows its four arms and giant teeth. That's not going to be a fun battle.

The new trailers come bundled with an interesting piece of news: according to Arryn Flynn of BioWare, Dragon Age: Inquisition will take players 150 hours of gameplay to discover every bit of land and complete every single quest. Those 150 hours will include over one million words of dialogue with intertwining stories in the quest to save Thedas. Bascially, if you're planning to take on Dragon Age: Inquisition, we hope you're ready for a long haul.

Dragon Age: Inquisition launches Nov. 18 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
