If you're an avid cosplayer and are looking forward to seeing all the great costumes and outfits from Dragon Age: Inquisition, BioWare has a present for you.

A post on the BioWare Blog introduces us to the Dragon Age: Inquisition Character Kits. Jessica Merizan, BioWare's Community Manager, recounts her history with BioWare games and how she fell in love with Dragon Age and its characters. She even painstakingly created a Hawke cosplay, only to find out that she had gotten components of the costume totally wrong, even though she based her design on screenshots and her memories of a demo.

Flash forward to the present, where Merizan has unveiled the creation of Character Kits, which is a passion project for many departments within BioWare. Since concept artists and other people in the studios talked to cosplayers at conventions, they've helped each other come up with costume ideas that were more cosplayer-friendly, like adding pockets that would help conceal things like cell phones and wallets. In order to help cosplayers get access to better resources, BioWare is releasing these Character Kits with detailed looks at the costumes.

The first Character Kit to be released is Morrigan in her ball gown. The high resolution pictures give cosplayers many different angles to view, as well as the chance to see all of the minute details and fabrics in the clothing. You can grab the very first Character Kit here.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will be released later this yer on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
