A 3D remake of Double Dragon 2 was announced by Barunson Interactive way back in July of 2011. But since then, the game has been in hiding.

Instead of punching its way onto XBLA in the fall of 2011, the game was delayed by shifts in development teams, the result of Barunson Interactive being bought out by Gravity.

But the long delays are now over, as the final results of Gravity's efforts on the remake, titled Double Dragon 2: Wander of Dragons, are set to show up on XBLA on April 5th. The game was announced today as part of the XBLA spring sale that started today.

Double Dragon 2: Wander of Dragons will be priced at 1200 MSP and feature both local gameplay and online co-op. We suggest teaming up with this kid.
