The first story add-on for Arkane Studios' Dishonored will put you in the shoes of antagonist Daud himself on April 16th.

Dubbed "The Knife of Dunwall," the downloadable content previously believed to be "Other Side of the Coin" was confirmed by Bethesda after the publisher teased the add-on Tuesday night. Set to arrive next month on the PlayStation 3, PC, and Xbox 360, the DLC will put you in the shoes of Corvo's enemy Daud, as you experience key events in the original game from a different perspective.

As expected, the DLC will also add new locations like the Rothwild Slaughterhouse, and new abilities like Summon Assassin, which calls Daud's Whalers to his aid. You'll also have new weapons to use like Chokedust bombs, oil-powered Stun Mines, and a concealed Wristbow. Players will also be able to make more moral choices, which in turn will affect the way the story plays out.

Most interesting though was the announcement of another DLC add-on, "The Brigamore Witches," which will bring Daud's story to a close. It's interesting that so much of the DLC is about Corvo's enemy, but it should make for an interesting take on the events of Dishonored. That upcoming content does not yet have a release date.

"The Knife of Dunwall" will retail for $9.99 (800MSP) when it arrives next month. You can check out some screenshots of the new content below.
