We have learned all kinds of awesome details about how Bungie is changing Destiny's multiplayer in its upcoming House of Wolves DLC.

Bungie has hosted a livestream on Twitch where its team members revealed some major changes going into Destiny next month with the House of Wolves expansion. In terms of PvP, Bungie is heavily revamping the Crucible multiplayer arena. Crucible matches are going to offer twice as many engram drops as they do now while doubling the amount of Crucible marks you get with each fight. There will now be guaranteed rewards for winning the featured match type of the day. PlayStation owners will be getting the special Timekeeper PvP map, while other new Crucible battlegrounds include the Thieves' Den on Venus, Widow's Court on Earth and Phobos' Black Shield.

On top of all this, Bungie is adding an entirely new PvP mode, Trials of Osiris. This marks the dawn of a new match type, Elimination. In Trials of Osiris, your three-man team will only have two minutes to kill the opposing team of the same number. Note that in Elimination and Osiris there are no respawns, but allies can revive you at the risk of being shot. Trials of Osiris won't have single-player matchmaking, as you will need two friends in your squad to join the queue for a fight.

Destiny: House of Wolves will launch on May 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
