Deep Down Trailer: Treasure Comes to Life

Dungeon crawling, treasure hunting gameplay gets a mature, horrific twist in this latest Deep Down trailer.

Given Capcom's history with the likes of Resident Evil and Monster Hunter, we were wondering when it was going to blur more aspects of the two franchises together. Luckily, Deep Down appears to be the next-gen answer for those who were hoping for a horror-based twist on dungeon crawling. Sure, the Diablo series has its fair share of monsters, spirits and demons to fight, but its top-down, zoomed-out perspective along with its sheer numbers of monsters being slain left us rather numb to horror-aspect of dungeon crawling.

Every single monster featured in this newest Deep Down trailer looked scary, unworldly and truly threatening. Swords and spears don't look like they're going to be enough with this wide array of ugly creatures, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Deep Down will be coming exclusively to the PlayStation 4 later this year.
