NIS America has announced that it's bringing the sequel to its recent hit visual novel over to North America.

That's right, the 'Battle Royale' of puzzle gaming has returned with Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. In the first title, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, students were being killed left and right, and the remaining student body had to simultaneously play the role of defense and prosecution in order to figure out the culprit. Gematsu reported that just two days after Danganronpa's North American release, NIS America has decided to bring its sequel here as well.

Once again, Danganronpa will be pitting high school students against each other under a violent killing game orchestrated by Monokuma. This time however, all the action will take place on an island where the students are trapped during a field trip.

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair is expected to be out this fall for the PS Vita. For Japanese elitists , Goodbye Despair will feature both the Japanese and English dialogue tracks, offering you your preference in how to enjoy its story.
