Cut the Rope is Heading to the 3DS

Popular casual game Cut the Rope is a favorite among Android and iOS users all over the world. However, this popular phone and tablet game is now coming to an official gaming console, the 3DS.

According to Nintendo World Report, the 3DS version of Cut the Rope will be developed by Abylight games and will only be published by the original creators of the game, Zeptolab. The 3DS conversion will include all of the extra PC/Mac version levels, as well as achievements, leaderboards, and more.

Currently, no release date for the game has been announced, however, GoNintendo has released a gameplay video of the title in action. Overall, the gameplay looks pretty much identical to every other version of Cut the Rope we have seen, and it takes place completely on the 3DS’s bottom screen. The top screen shows Omnom … but, that’s about it.
