Crysis 3 Multiplayer Beta Open to all January 29th

Crytek has announced the multiplayer beta for Crysis 3 will begin next Tuesday.

The beta will feature two maps and two gameplay modes. In Hunter, two players are permanently cloaked Hunters, while up to 14 other players act as CELL troopers waiting for extraction. Every kill by the Hunters turns their prey, and Hunters must eliminate all CELL soldiers to get the win.

Crash Site is Crysis 3's king of the hill variant, with two teams fighting for control of an alien artifact. There are special shields for defenders to pick up, as well as Pinger automated walkers. Both game modes will be playable on either the Museum or the Airport levels.

The Crysis 3 beta will be available on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 starting Jan. 29th. To commemorate the announcement, the devs have also released a new trailer focusing on the powers of the nanosuit.
