Crunchyroll, Encore and Movieplex Play Apps Launch on Xbox One
Over 1,500 movie titles and all your favorite anime series are going to be available for you to stream on your Xbox One.
The Xbox Wire reports that the apps for Movieplex Play, Encore Play and Crunchyroll have launched for Xbox One. Both Encore and Movieplex Play will let you stream the Movieplex and Encore channels' lineups of movies directly onto your console. Movieplex Play has about 200 movies in its lineup while Encore has over 1,500, including recent hits like 'Iron Man 3' and 'After Earth' as well as a ton of TV series from the 80s and 90s.
Xbox One's new Crunchyroll app will let you watch your favorite anime series along with live-action Japanese and Korean dramas. 'Naruto Shippuden,' 'Sword Art Online,' 'One Piece,' and 'Sailor Moon' are just some of the noteworthy anime shows you can stream with Crunchyroll.
Crunchyroll requires a subscription account for you to watch its programming on your Xbox One console while Movieplex and Encore need you to input your TV provider info in order to access their movies.
