Crackdown and Dead Rising 2 Free for Xbox Live Gold Members in August

The Games with Gold program steams along with August's free offerings. You can beat the summer heat this month by download Crackdown, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Case Zero.

Crackdown will be available from Aug. 1 through Aug. 15, keeping you busy for the first half of the month. Once you're done with the first offering, you can download Dead Rising 2 between Aug. 16 and 31. As an added bonus, you'll also be able to download the Dead Rising 2: Case Zero downloadable content during this time period as well.

This month should afford you a good chance to catch up on the Dead Rising series before the next one is released during the next generation. Let us know what other games you'd like to see put up for download in the Games with Gold program.
