Circle Pad Pro XL Finally Available in America

Remember the 3DS Circle Pad Pro? This nifty little add on put a whole second analog pad onto your 3DS, and was used for tons of games like Resident Evil: Revelations, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, and ... Well it was used for those two games at least.

Unfortunately Nintendo decided to ruin all of our two analog stick fun by releasing the 3DSXL, which simply did not fit inside the original Circle Pad Pro. The result, release a new Circle Pad Pro! Unfortunately, the 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro was only available in Japan for a fairly long time. Europe even got it before we did here in the states.

Luckily, all that has changed as Capcom is reporting that the 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro is finally in stock in the Nintendo Online Store. Orders are slated to begin shipping this Friday.

Of course, if you were a complete Monster Hunter addict, you may have already ordered an import version of the Circle Pad Pro XL, which works just fine on an American 3DS. Still, it’s good to know that it’s now available to the general public.
