Capcom Unveiling Two Dungeons and Dragons Remakes at PAX East
Capcom promised two mystery games would be part of its PAX East display, and now we know the publisher is bringing D&D back in a big way.
According to Siliconera, Capcom will be releasing two of its Dungeons and Dragons games on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. Dungeons and Dragons: Shadow Over Mystara and Dungeons and Dragons: Tower of Doom are belt action RPGs, and haven't been released since a Capcom compilation on the Sega Saturn.
Both games share some lineage with Vanillaware's upcoming Dragon's Crown, which was directed by George Kamitani, who worked on both D&D games for Capcom. More details are expected to come next week, but this is definitely exciting news for fans. Though we still don't know a date or price, at least the two titles won't be pricey to import from the West once they are available digitally.
