The PlayStation Network accidentally posted a release date for Resident Evil Revelations 2, but Capcom pulled an Officer Barbrady and refuted the PSN's listing.

Capcom has announced on the official Resident Evil Twitter that the release date seen for Resident Evil Revelations 2's complete season on the PlayStation Network is just a placeholder date and is not final. The PSN listing claimed that Revelations 2's complete season will be released on Feb. 9, 2015, suggesting either every episode of Revelations 2 will have been released by then or this is when we can expect the first episode to launch. Nevertheless, Capcom has officially shot this date down. Factoring in the remastered Resident Evil Remake's anticipated early 2015 launch, it would make sense that Capcom would want to spread out the releases of two Resident Evil games in the same year.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 is expected to launch on PS3, PS4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One sometime in early 2015.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 looks pretty darn creepy, but is it the creepiest ever?
