As the year winds down, many are already looking ahead to what 2014 will offer. Capcom gave a few hints as to what to expect from the publisher, including returning heroes and classic franchises.

Speaking with 4Gamer (and translated by Dual Shockers), Capcom's Kazunori Sugiura (Deep Down), Kenji Kataoka (Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara), and Shu Takumi and Takeshi Yamazaki (both of Phoenix Wright fame) divulged a few secrets about what was in the works.

Sugiura emphasized how surprised fans would be of what was coming in 2014, adding there would be some big news on the fighting game front. Kataoka hinted an announcement would be coming during the summer months about another classic Capcom franchise being resurrected. Though he didn't offer more clues, he did intimate it was on track for release for the end of 2014.

Takumi has a new game in the works, but only offered that it would be announced next year. Meanwhile, Yamazaki told the site the next Phoenix Wright title is already in development. It's not clear if the two Phoenix Wright team members were talking about the same game, but even if they were, so what? We'll gladly take another new Phoenix Wright game after how great Dual Destinies was.
