Have you been hoping for a new title update in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare to address some weapon balancing? Looks like you won't have to wait much longer.

While nothing seems completely set in stone just yet, MP1st reports that Sledgehammer Games' studio head, Michael Condrey, has been taking to Twitter to assuage some fans' fears. If you've been wondering when your favorite underpowered weapon will be getting an update, it seems that it may be sooner rather than later. Although there have been numerous weapons that have already been re-tuned, it seems that Sledgehammer has no thought of stopping with those.

While Condrey doesn't mention which weapons he's referring to, at least we know that over 15 weapons will be re-tuned, which gives hope for Vilgot Bryggare's MP11. What we do know for sure is that the SN6 will be getting a buff so that all of its fans can return to playing it without automatically dying from its measly amounts of damage.

However, the update won't end with weapon re-tunes, but instead also move on to some tweaks to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Elite gear drops. It seems that Sledgehammer believes that more people deserve Elite gear than just those who gather some from lucky loot drops, and is working to give them their rewards.

While we wait for specifics on the next update, such as when it comes out and exactly what it will entail, you can at least play the other re-tuned guns now on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare out for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
