Cactus Canyon & Central Park Join The Pinball Arcade
The Pinball Arcade, one of our 25 Best Games of 2012, continues to impress pinheads with new content every month for their favorite iOS and Android device. This month, Cactus Canyon and Central Park join the always growing virtual pinball family.
These are two pins that I've actually never played before so I'm pretty excitedf to finally get the chance to play them. That's what makes this app so great. While there's nothing like the real thing, getting to play pins that you've never played before for such a low price is awesome.
Cactus Canyon has you playing the role of town Marshall as you try and clean up the town of Cactus Canyon. Save Miss Polly and try to get to the showdown at the OK Corral! Only 903 tables were produced which is probably why I've never seen it anywhere.
Central Park is an EM machine from 1966 and is a classic among pinball fans. A monkey ringing a bell everytime you score 100 points will either delight you, or drive you insane. This is a fun table that I've played at various pinball places. 3,100 units were produced. (Now you know why it's harder to find a Cactus Canyon than this machine.)
One last thing, FarSight Studios announced that The Pinball Arcade will be coming to the PS4!
