To all the adventure gamers out there who are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Revolution Software's Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse, well ... you're all going to have to wait a bit longer than you thought. According to the developers, the game is going to be delayed until sometime in the second half of the year. Drag!

So what's the deal? While there is no specific problem that has been announced, Revolution Software has stated that the game is just taking longer than they thought it would. We guess that's better than some big technical issue or something.

It more or less comes down to the developers wanting to fulfill all of the promises they made when they easily reached their funding goals through the Kickstarter they set up for this game.

But we've said it before and we'll say it again -- "when it's done," is better than, "rush it out the door." By and large, it usually means we are all getting a better game in the end. And with a franchise as beloved as the Broken Sword series, you don't want to mess around.
