They aren’t even close to being the good guys, but today, they’re going to save the world. A new cinematic trailer for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has been released, further hyping up players for the already eagerly anticipated co-op shooter.

Set to the game’s theme song, ‘Come With Me Now’ by Kongos, the trailer gives us plenty of action and briefly details the game's plot. More importantly, it gives us a look at Claptrap, who is playable in the Pre-Sequel. While the other playable characters each has a unique Action Skill, Claptrap has a bunch of them. The trailer shows several examples, including Torgue Fiesta, Funzerker, Laser Inferno, Shhhhhhhhhhh...trap, One Shot Wonder, and Rubber Ducky. A couple of unnamed Action Skills were also shown. One of these Action Skills had Claptrap wearing a pirate hat and firing quad-cannons, and another one provided Claptrap with flaming wings. It’s not yet known if Claptrap will be able to choose his Action Skill or if he randomly selects one each time. Either way, Claptrap’s inclusion should add a healthy dose of chaos to Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is scheduled for an Oct. 14 release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
