Who knew that FPS-based combat on the moon could look so handsome?

2K and Gearbox Software have just officially unveiled Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and we have got an inside look as to many of its gun-toting details. The Pre-Sequel takes place during the five year gap that exists between the first Borderlands and Borderlands 2. Even better is that we get to explore Pandora's moon, which offers an array of low-gravity mechanics, oxygen levels to worry about, zero-atmosphere environments and a whole lot of amazing guns for you to use.

You get to play as one of Handsome Jack's four lieutenants and will contribute to both Hyperion's rise to power and Jack's ascension to tyranny, which dominated much of Borderlands 2. Besides its low-gravity combat, the Pre-Sequel will also introduce Cryo weapons that will freeze enemies and allow you to send their shattered fragments floating off into space.

Prepare for more RPG-inspired, FPS mayhem when Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel reaches the dark side of the mode for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC this fall.
