2K Australia and Gearbox Software have released new gameplay footage for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel from PAX Prime that focuses on our favorite partying robot, Claptrap.

This new video of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel features Claptrap in action. In terms of his skills, Claptrap's three skill trees are diverse. His VaultHunter.EXE Action Skill will analyze the situation and load an action package based on a random Vault Hunter's attacks for a short time. One example would be throwing out mini-turrets or dual-wielding like a Gunzerker.

Of course, the description for the skill is all Claptrapped-out, claiming that the Action Skill is technically malware for our wheeled robot. The Fragmented Fragtrap style forces you to change weapons and elemental damage frequently according to on-screen cues for bonus damage. Claptrap's "I Love You Guys!" skill tree focuses on group bonuses and healing his partners. One of his skills includes a cue where Claptrap asks his team for a high five. If a party member gives him one, the group shares a big bonus. If a party member leaves him hanging, Claptrap keeps the combined bonuses for himself, which is awesome.

Be ready to play as Claptrap and his minions when Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel launches on Oct. 14 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
