Borderlands 2’s Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack is Now Available

Borderlands 2 receives its big update today, giving Vault Hunters another reason to keep the shootin' and lootin' going. Let's take a look at what the new adventures in Pandora will have in store for us.

The Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack will raise the level cap from 50 to 61, adds a New Game++ mode that lets you play through the adventure in tougher Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, and adds a new tier of pearlescent weapons for you to hunt down.

If you've got the Season Pass, which costs $29.99 (or 2400 Microsoft Points), you'll get access to this new downloadable content pack for free. The Season Pass is valued at $45 worth of DLC, so there is a lot of meat to dig into if you decide to get it. But, if you do, you'll have access to the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack, Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, and Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, with a fourth DLC pack due out in June.
