A new update to Borderlands 2 on the PlayStation Vita tweaks the way you control the Vault-hunting action in the game.

Gio Corsi, Director of Third Party Production for SCEA, posted on the PlayStation Blog about an update for Borderlands 2 for PlayStation Vita. Title update 1.04 is now available and brings a lot of improvements that should help make your adventures on Pandora a lot smoother.

Stability and performance have been improved, with audio playback issues being addressed. The gyroscopic controls can now be independently inverted for those who prefer that style of aiming.

Scaling sliders have been included for rear touch inputs. All you have to do is change them in the Options menu. Corsi said, "Many users mapped lesser used actions to the rear touch but reported that in gripping their PS Vita systems, they’d still accidentally trigger those inputs. Users can now scale the input area down to much smaller zones, mitigating this."

An issue that didn't notify players of when their online sessions had ended caused them to appear available for multiplayer has also been fixed. So go ahead and start up your game on the PlayStation Vita and get the improvements to the game now. The sooner you do, the sooner you can shoot and loot some more!
