Gearbox Software

In a bid to destroy productivity everywhere, Gearbox Software has announced that they'll be bringing Borderlands 2 to the PlayStation Vita.

Gearbox is teaming up with 2K, PlayStation and Iron Galaxy Studios to bring the big mayhem of the Vault Hunters to the tiny PlayStation Vita screen. No other details were given about the port, except that it will be released on the Vita some time in 2014.

Whether or not the game's many expansions will be made available at launch for the Vita is unknown, but there's plenty of content for the Vita version to pull from, so it'll be interesting to see how they can cram it all into the handheld system.

Let us know what you think of this port and whether or not you'll explore the ravaged world of Pandora on the Vita. We'll keep you updated as more information about this port is unveiled.
