Get ready to shoot and loot your way to glory in Borderlands 2 as you hold the world of Pandora in the palm of your hands.

Gio Corsi, Director of Third Party Production for SCEA, posted the video above to the PlayStation Blog and offered a few words about Borderlands 2's PlayStation Vita debut. More specifically, he announces the release date for the Borderlands 2 Limited Edition PlayStation Vita Bundle, which is set for release on May 6.

This bundle will include the lighter, slimmer PlayStation Vita Wi-Fi model, which is packed with 1GB of internal memory, an HD LCD screen, more battery life and a more ergonomic design for comfortable gripping. The bundle will cost $199.99 and includes a black PlayStation Vita, a digital copy of Borderlands 2 and an 8GB memory card for the PlayStation Vita. Borderlands 2 will come equipped with six pieces of downloadable content: Mister Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty, the Psycho Pack, the Mechromancer Pack, the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1 and the Collector's Edition Pack. That's a whole lot of Borderlands 2 lovin'.

Look out for the bundle on May 6. If you just want the standalone game, you'll have to wait for it to be released on May 13. Still no word on when or where a standalone version of the Vita Slim will be available.
