Fans of the Borderlands franchise can hardly wait for the next installment in the series, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. With the October 14 release date still months away, Gearbox is releasing in-game costumes for Borderlands 2, which allows its characters to dress up as the new protagonists of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

Borderlands 2’s Vault Hunters can now cosplay as the stars of the next Borderlands title. Commando Axton can don the gear of Athena, a former top operative of the Crimson Lance. Gunzerker Salvador will dress up as Wilhelm, who originally appeared as a boss character in Borderlands 2. Siren Maya will swap outfits with Nisha the Lawbringer, while Zer0 does his best impression of Claptrap, the whimsical robot on wheels. Gaige the Mechromancer can role-play as the nefarious Miss Moxxi and Krieg the Psycho can pretend to be a Scav.

The newest Borderlands 2 update makes all of these costume options available via extremely rare in-game drops, but players can automatically unlock one costume set per week using SHiFT codes on the Gearbox site. Axton’s costume can be unlocked on Friday, July 18, with options for Salvador, Maya, Zer0, Gaige and Krieg opening up in the following weeks.
