This Grand Theft Auto V remake of the intro to 'Boardwalk Empire' makes us want to booze it up under the boardwalk in Atlantic City like the Prohibition was still going on.

Thanks to Youtube user 8-BIT BASTARD for making this amazing rendition of the 'Boardwalk Empire' intro. While the character doesn't have the "funny looking" visage of Steve Buscemi (yes, that was a 'Fargo' reference), we're glad to see everything from the hat, to the smokes and the suit were accurately reproduced during the video. 'Boardwalk Empire' is HBO's award-winning drama focusing on Nucky Thompson, a political figure that controlled much of Atlantic City, NJ during the Prohibition in the 1920s and 30s.

As you can tell, 8-BIT BASTARD kept this video very authentic and true to the opening sequence, including the various bottles floating along the Jersey shoreline as well as Thompson's killer shoes being splashed on while standing at the beach. 8-BIT has also released a split-screen comparison video so you can see how true it is to the source material.
