Cyanide's cross between football and Warhammer is back and better than ever in Blood Bowl 2.

The only thing longer than Blood Bowl's list of rules may be its gameplay, but we certainly dig it. One of the biggest problems most people had with the original board game was the amount of time learning the rules (as do most board games). However, in the new gameplay video that Cyanide has released of its upcoming game that combines American football and the world of Warhammer, everything looks relatively self explanatory. Which is certainly a relief when it comes to Orcs and Humans tackling each other on the gridiron.

In the trailer above, you can check out some of the Human team, the Reikland Reavers', best moves as well as some of the core gameplay mechanics that you can expect from a typical Blood Bowl 2 match. These basic components of gameplay include running, passing, catching, blocking and blitzing. There will be a total of 75 different skills that fans can learn while leveling. While the Humans are a good, safe team, they don't particularly excel at anything. This is where the Orc team can really come in handy. However, we will have to wait a little while longer to see them in action.

One of the best things about this new Blood Bowl game is its awesome graphics. Blood Bowl 2 boasts a brand new engine, letting you almost see the faces of every person in the crowd. The new engine also brings a new game interface since last time that has improved visual feedback for a more modern look at the Blood Bowl.

You can find out more about Blood Bowl 2 on the game's official website or just wait until it comes out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC this spring.
