BioShock Infinite Is The Top Selling Game In March

Bioshock Infinite

Sales tracking data from the NPD Group reveals that BioShock Infinite was the top game seller in March. Considering it’s one of the most revered franchises in history, the news doesn’t come as much of a surprise.

Another popular franchise, Tomb Raider, landed at the number two slot, followed by Gears of War: Judgment. March releases Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Dead Space 3, and the critically drubbed Aliens: Colonial Marines did not chart in the top ten.

Rounding out the top ten list, in descending order, are God of War: Ascension, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, MLB 13: The Show, NBA 2K13, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm.

As for the best selling console, those honors went to the Xbox 360 for the 27th straight month. In March, the console sold 261,000 units.
