5 Best iOS Lego Games
I suppose calling this list the 5 Best Lego Games is a bit unfair considering there are only around five Lego games in the App Store. Which is surprising considering how popular of a franchise it has been in the video game world. When they partnered with movie studios and game companies to create Lego versions of our favorite properties, you would think that iOS versions of these games would be out already, but that isn't the case. So let's try and build up your gaming library a bit by showing you the 5 best Lego games you should be playing.
Lego Ninjago: Rise of the Snakes
This Lego game focuses on one thing and one thing only -- fighting. Build your character up and have him to battle with five different Lego characters every day. If you win, you collect their items or even the characters themselves. The controls are a bit wonky because they use the accelerometer, but fans of Lego and Pokemon-type games will enjoy trying to collect rare Lego fighters.
Lego Star Wars Battle Orders
There are so many good Lego Star Wars games out I'm surprised that this is the only one in the App Store. Play as a Jedi or Sith Lord as you try and conquer each other planets. It's not a very difficult game, but fans of Star Wars will buy it regardless. Lego Darth Maul, you scary!
It's made for little kids but it's also really cute. Lego App4+ makes our list of 5 best Lego games because of its bright, cartoony graphics and easy pick-up-and-play controls for kids. They'll enjoy putting together different vehicles as they roll along the ground on their way to a giant present that spits out more Legos. Hey, don't knock it till you've tried it!
Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4
Fans who are still crying that the Harry Potter series is over (I'm one of them) can still live their life as a virtual Harry thanks to this excellent port of the popular console game. Go through the same adventures young Harry did in Hogwarts with Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4. It's goofy, but it's a lot of fun to play.
Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7
Since we don't have Lego Indiana Jones or Lego Batman or Lego Pirates of the Caribbean or more Lego Star Wars games, then at least we can continue the Harry Potter fun! Years 5-7 tops our 5 best Lego games list with improved graphics, a new control system and a wand-erous way to finally get rid of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named ... one Death Eating Lego at a time.
