If anybody missed out on the Battlefield Hardline beta or just wants more excuses to play Cops-and-Robbers early, a second beta test will be coming down the chute.

An update on the Battlefield Blog thanks players for playing the beta and for offering feedback on their experiences. Steve Papoutsis, VP and GM at Visceral Games and Executive Producer on Battlefield Hardline, said, "It’s great to hear about games and see games, but we want to play games. And even though it is still early and we have a lot of work left to do, it was important to us that you could see and feel for yourself what we’re doing with Hardline."

He promises that new modes will be revealed soon that really "play off the cop and criminal theme, as well as the return of fan-favorites." A lot of new map types are also going to be available for players to experience, such as a subterranean grow lab and the streets of Miami.

Papoutsis also said that they'll be launching another beta in the fall for all announced platforms. And unlike this first beta, the next beta "will showcase more."

Look out for the release of Hardline on Oct. 21 on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
