Just because it's April Fools' Day doesn't mean the Dark Knight will be laughing at the Joker's new, comical management of Blackgate prison.

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - Deluxe Edition brings the original Blackgate's Nintendo 3DS/PS Vita gameplay to home consoles and PC with a number of updates worthy of a Bat-Signal. With new maps, objectives, difficulties and the addition of fully voiced dialogue featuring Batman: Arkham Origins' excellent voice actors reprising their roles, the Deluxe Edition of Blackgate feels just right in expanding Bruce Wayne's sense of vigilante justice.

Taking place months after the ending of Arkham Origins, the Joker, Penguin and Black Mask each take over various parts of Blackgate prison. Having Deadshot, Solomon Grundy, Bane and a multitude of criminal flunkies serving under each supervillain, the Bat definitely has his work cut out for him. Origins Blackgate also depicts the Arkham series' first encounter between Batman and the illusive, yet seductive, Catwoman.

This trailer for the Deluxe Edition of Blackgate also revealed that in addition to the previous Batsuits you can unlock in the original version of Blackgate, a new 'Zero Year' suit has been included for those who sign into the game using their Warner Bros. ID account.

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - Deluxe Edition is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace, PlayStation Network and Steam as of today and runs for the price of $19.99. Blackgate Deluxe will be coming to the Nintendo eShop on April 17.
