Tom Happ's recent hit, Axiom Verge, isn't done yet. It has come out on PlayStation 4, but the newest update is that it will soon be out for PC and PS Vita.

Axiom Verge, the action-adventure game by Tom Happ, will be coming out for PC not only through Steam, but also through Humble Bundle quite soon. This means that the retro, side-scrolling and alien-fighting action won't just be confined to the PlayStation 4.

With the announcement of the new versions of the game came a pretty interesting dialogue from the game's creator;

The gun roars. A crackling stream of energy erupts forth, tearing the beast open. It gurgles, steaming ichor and oil boiling from its mouth, as you press yourself back against the wall, the gun hot and humming in your—

“Sorry, I am very weak. You must go, now!”

“But wait,” you yell, gripped with the ache of loss as the voice in your head pulls away. “Don’t leave me alone in this world. Where do I go?”

“—to the Steam store page: http://store.steampowered.com/app/332200/ . Bring $19.99 / €17.99 with you, and most importantly make sure your thumbs are ready.”

It was definitely a cute and clever way to announce that the game will be coming to PC, but the announcement got pretty real and revealed some key features as well, such as a "non-linear alien world with more than 900 unique, interlocking rooms". Other key features include a bunch of different tools, abilities, weapons, upgrades, awesome battles, the ability to take advantage of retro-style glitches, a dedicated speedrun mode and a future release for PlayStation Vita (with cross-buy in play!).

You can expect Axiom Verge to come out for Steam and Humble Bundle's Humble Store on May 14 where it will be available for $19.99. Unfortunately, we may have to wait a little bit longer for the game's upcoming PS Vita release.
