Update:

Nintendo has posted a trailer for Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains. This new forename is a bit different from its original name of Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind, but the game remains the same. As you can tell by the trailer, this 3DS title will tell the events of the anime's first dozen or so episodes, focusing on the Battle of Trost portion of the story.

Original Story:

If you were looking forward to the Attack on Titan game for Nintendo 3DS a few years ago and got super bummed out that it didn't get a Western release, we may have good news.

For some reason, gaming companies really love to post ambiguous tweets hinting at new games, and Atlus is following the trend. Destructoid reports that, following a Tweet of a Vine (stay with us here) of some dude crushing a bunch of ketchup-packet people, fans are starting to think that Attack on Titan's Nintendo 3DS game, The Last Wings of Mankind, could be coming to North America. It really wouldn't be surprising either, considering the immense popularity of the manga-based anime series. Based on how the Atlus employee was splattering those ketchup packets and eating, it's safe to say he was acting all Titan-like.

Attack on Titan is a manga, an anime and now a video game. The series is about this civilization hiding inside huge, stone walls in order to keep building-size Titans from attacking them (and chomping on their family). There is constant research going on about how to best defeat the Titans, but for the time being the best idea they've come up with are these humongous walls and grappling-hook-sword things.

We will just have to wait and see if the Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind will make its way to the West, but we've got our fingers crossed while doing that awesome military salute. Now if only they'd finally do another season of the anime (there's already more than enough content in the manga for it).
