Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag Confirmed; More Details To Come

A press release has come out today, confirming the existence of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.

The confirmation comes in the form of pack shots of the game, which features the new hero standing on a pirate ship with a flag bearing a skull and the Assassins' insignia.

A closer look at the cover art shows that the new assassin has a scruffy beard and medium-length light-blonde hair, making him the first protagonist in the series without dark hair. It will be interesting to see this new guy in action, as well as his lineage.

He also seems to like having pistols handy, since he's see with no less than four of them on his person. This is understandable, because reloading took forever in those days!

More information about the game will be revealed on Monday, March 4th, 2013, but for now we know that the game will be coming out for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Nintendo Wii U. It should also be noted that the PS3 will get an additional 60 minutes of exclusive content.
