The (not so) secret sequel Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag has already been announced for PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Xbox 360, but it will also be coming to next generation consoles as well.

On a dedicated page on Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed website, the publisher is hosting a countdown for the premiere trailer for Black Flag. Gaming Everything discovered another page within the portal specifically tied to Black Flag. There, not only does Ubisoft state plainly the sequel will also be coming to the PlayStation 4 and the rumored Xbox 720, but that Black Flag will be out on Oct. 29th, 2013.

Black Flag was discovered thanks to some early leaks, which forced Ubisoft to show its hand a bit early, and officially announce the game on Thursday. More details are expected to drop on Monday, including the first trailer for the pirate-themed sequel.

Now that you know Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag will be out on next gen consoles, will you be waiting for that version to drop, or will you still get it on one of your existing systems?
