Arcade Spotlight: Be'ne Pizza & Pasta in Omaha, NE

EDIT
|

When I was a kid my family always went to Shakey's Pizza in San Jose, California. I loved going there but not for the pizza. For the video games they had in the back. They didn't have many, but I always headed back there to play Asteroids or Missile Command. Besides Chuck E. Cheese, there weren't too many pizza parlors that had arcades, and today they're practically non-existent. Unless you happen to live in Omaha, NE. Check out this cool Arcade Spotlight!

Be'ne Pizza & Pasta not only serves pizza and pasta, but they also serve some kick ass gaming goodness. Be'ne opened in 2002 and is a family owned business. One son knows the food, the other knows games. A perfect combination? You betcha.

I suppose I could talk about the food, but no one gives a damn about food in an arcade article. What we're here to talk about are the games and Be'ne is pretty proud of their classic arcade collection. They have over 50 classic arcade games, like Tron, Defender, paperboy and Star Wars. All of their pinball machines are restored to like new condition and are constantly being refreshed. Is there anything better than stuffing your fat face, drinking beer and playing arcade games? If there is, we don't know about it and even if we did, we'd never admit it.

Take a look at some pictures of this sweet pizza parlor's arcade. Stop on by if you're hungry for some classic arcade gaming! Or pizza. Whatever.
