It's been rumored, and now it's fact -- Apple just sent out invites to a media event happening on October 23rd. But what will they showing off exactly? The invitation alone drops the hint at the heralded iPad Mini.

"We've got a little more to show you." sounds like a magician's tagline, and when it comes to magically pulling money out of people's bank accounts, Apple is the king of all magicians. The event is expected to showcase the brand new 7.85-inch iPad Mini, which, along with other rumors, isn't the official name, but iPad Smaller sounds kind of stupid.

It's also rumored that Apple will be showing off new iMacs, MacBook Pros and an updated new iPad with a Lightning port instead of that troublesome dock port that everyone has in their house and car.

We'll know more next week when Apple finally reveals the iPad Tinier ... iPad Macro ... iPad Tabby ... hopefully they just go with iPad Mini.
