Angry Video Game Nerd Reviews Ikari Warriors

Angry Video Game Nerd

The Angry Video Game Nerd, James Rolfe, is back with another video. This time, his Rolling Rock-fueled expletives are aimed at Ikari Warriors.

It’s been quite some time since Rolfe’s last Nerd video, which was three months ago and focused on Atari Sports, but now he’s back for more retro punishment.

This latest game, Ikari Warriors, stars kickass commandos named Ralf and Clark who tear through their enemies with their awesome weapons. Or at least, they try to tear through their enemies with their awesome weapons that have bullets that disappear after five feet or so.

Rolfe is back to basics in this video and just plays the game while giving his own brand of nerd rage-like commentary. Gone are the weird, sometimes overly-lengthy skits and we get a Nerd and his Nintendo Entertainment System.

As always, he’s both informative and entertaining, dropping tidbits of trivia (like the fact that Ralf and Clark end up in the King of Fighters series and in Metal Slug 6 and 7), while also dropping f-bombs every now and again.

Watch the video below and look out for the Angry Video Game Nerd movie when it’s finally complete! Also, keep in mind that the language is pretty NSFW, so viewer discretion is definitely advised.

Do you find the Nerd funny? Why or why not? Or maybe you like the Nostalgia Critic better? Let us know!
