Aliens: Colonial Marines for Wii U is Canceled

Aliens: Colonial Marines has officially been canceled for the Nintendo Wii U, ensuring that this game won't be coming out of the walls anymore for other consoles.

A representative of SEGA sent a statement to IGN earlier today, saying that, "SEGA can confirm that the Wii U sku of Aliens: Colonial Marines is no longer in development." It's almost two months since the game debuted for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on February 12th, 2013, to mostly dismal review scores.

Perhaps the cancellation of any further development of a Wii U version of the game is in response to those poor review scores or the bad press surrounding the development and marketing of Aliens: Colonial Marines.
