3D Realms Announces Its Return with a 32-Game Anthology

The studio known for making Duke Nukem a household (and controversial) name heralds its return by releasing a massive anthology featuring Shadow Warrior, Wolfenstein 3D, the Duke and many other of its classics.

To celebrate the relaunch of 3D Realms, the 22-year-old publishing company has released a massive anthology. After the litigations of 3D Realms lawsuit against Gearbox Software for its unpaid royalties for selling the Duke Nukem IP, this massive anthology of games reminds us why we fell in love with this veteran company in the first place. 3D Realms may have sold the rights to making new Duke Nukem titles, but it was still able to throw all the Duke's older classics together in this massive 32-game bundle. Over the past few years, 3D Realms has been known for licensing its franchises out, resulting in the remakes of Shadow Warrior and Rise of the Triad. 3D Realms has also invested a lot in newer development studios throughout the past, first starting with Id Software in the early 90s and now Remedy Entertainment (Max Payne and Quantum Break). Denmark-based Interceptor Entertainment has purchased 3D Realms earlier in the year and this anthology is the newest project to be released under 3D Realms' name.

The 3D Realms Anthology is now available for PC on the its official website for the price of $39.99. The anthology includes a remastered soundtrack featuring 9 re-composed Apogee and 3D Realms tracks done by Interceptor Entertainment's Andrew Hulshult.
